Setting Boundaries in the Workplace

from Rise, Unwind, & Ungrind · host Jesse Wojtys

Setting limits with others and with yourself is you being insubordinate or not a "team player", right? *WRONG*. It is perfectly okay to have and communicate your boundaries, especially to your superiors. However, it's still hard to set them, and enforce them - both with others, and with ourselves. This topic seems to be talked about often, in reference to interpersonal relationships in romantic, family, and friends...but not so much in the workplace, especially for those who are considered an employee. This episode will delve into some tips that you can take to implement in setting boundaries in your career, and overall help you achieve a better-work life balance, no matter what your position is, or what kind of work you do.
