Send us a topic suggestionIt is okay to love yourself as much as you love others. Self-love is essential to your mental health.  The self-love affirmation for today is I HAVE THE RIGHT TO SET BOUNDARIES AND SAY NO BECAUSE MY MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS. The definition of boundary is "a limit or rule you set for yourself and others to not cross or invade." Setting boundaries is a way of showing people you love yourself as much as you love them.  And yes, it is biblical. Jesus is a prime example of setting boundaries. Jesus didn't overshare information and overexert Himself. He said no to certain requests & demands of others, told people the truth in love, and He didn't concern Himself with what people said about Him. And Jesus did all this without fear and guilt. Fear is not in love. If you are doing things out of fear, you have not been perfected in love. 1 John 4:18 states, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love."
