Seven months later

from Kicking Depression in the Ass · host Scott Coons

After seven months of writing, A New Sunrise - Volume 3 is finished. In this episode, I talk about what it feels like to finally complete a book that became much more personal than I expected. It's a story about my wife in Thailand, retirement, uncertainty, love, difficult choices, and the possibility of starting a completely different life. I also share one of the biggest lessons from the process: big accomplishments usually happen in small pieces. Sometimes it was just sitting down and writing for 30 minutes, but those small days eventually became a finished book. If you've ever thought about starting over, taking a chance, traveling later in life, or finally finishing something important to you, this episode may speak to you.
