Severe weather is possible in Mississippi starting on Monday afternoon

There's a marginal risk of severe storms in northeastern Mississippi starting this afternoon into overnight. According to the National Weather Service in Jackson, severe storms capable of producing damaging winds of up to 60 mph and hail up to the size of a quarter are possible.
