SHATTERING MYTHS: Does God Really Kill Our Loved Ones?

I get this question often and it breaks my heart every single time. People want to find someone to blame for the death of a loved one. They speculate on whether they did something that God is punishing them for. He's punished them by killing their loved one. They wonder if their loved one did something wrong. God smites sinners. Right? Does God kill us for doing something wrong?
