At UCLA, she was a part of the cheer team and Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, as well as both the opera and choral departments. She has performed solos and in ensembles at Carnegie Hall, the Sydney Opera House, and Lincoln Center with Miss America 2019, Nia Franklin. She served as Miss America's (Outstanding) Teen 2019 after winning the titles of Miss Dallas and Miss Texas' Teen in 2018, in which she received over 30,000 in scholarship to attend UCLA. During her time in the Miss America Organization, she worked directly with Donate Life America to bring support and awareness to her social impact initiative "Check Yes For Life," encouraging teens to register as organ donors when they get their drivers licenses. She also served as the teen ambassador for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, entertaining patients and hosting fundraisers across the country.
