She's Planting the Seeds for Healing

from Uncorked with Funny Wine Girl · host Jeannine Luby

You can't kill a succulent. People have told me that. They would turn out to be wrong because I have indeed killed succulents...many! And I know that I'm not the only one. I have simply loved them too much. I guess one could say I drowned them with love (aka water). But that has not stopped me from growing my interest in plants and gardening. And nothing should stop you from growing plants or nurturing any interest or passion you might have. My guest this week is Collie Turner, the founder of Heroic Gardens, an organization that tends to the needs of veterans by offering them the opportunity to grow gardens and learn so much more in the process. Collie wants to help you move forward with your dreams. Don't let them wither up and die. Reach out to Collie with questions about anything green or if you're green and want inspiration to create something special. You can email her at: [email protected]. And let her know if you can help Heroic Gardens fulfill their mission by volunteering or making a donation.
