暑い日は牛乳で熱中症予防!今週は、山梨県北杜市「にある内田牧場の内田雄祐さんからメッセージが届きました。八ヶ岳南麓、北杜市長坂町中島地区にあり、南に甲斐駒ヶ岳が望める環境。第2次世界大戦の終戦に伴う戦後開拓により、おじいさまが牛を飼い始め、二代目のお父様は、山梨県酪農業協同組合の代表理事組合長をつとめている。雄祐さんは、県の職員を務めながら牧場を手伝い、今年の4月に就農。昨今の酪農危機といわれる状況下、若手の酪農家の廃業が進み、このままでは北杜市から好きな酪農の風景がなくなってしまうのでは・・・と感じ就農を決意。現在、牛たちのために実施されていることやコスト削減のための取り組み、消費者への想いと、今後の展望などについて語られていました。そして、スタジオには今週も、法政大学経営学部教授の木村純子先生をお迎えしました。イタリアの消費者におけるテリトーリオの意識、世界一ともいわれるアマルフィの景観を支えている農業、現代に歴史を重ねることで感じるロマン、「原産地呼称保護(PDO)」と「地理的表示保護(PGI)」の概要、日本における地理的表示(GI)の特徴、日本も注目し始めた分散しているホテルの考え方と利点、地域が一体となって農村を元気にしていく内発的発展などについて教えて頂きました。木村先生には、次回9/28もご出演して頂きます。
