Vi snackar om rädsla, att hantera motgångar, att vara jättekissnödig på hästryggen, samspelet mellan henne och hästen, förberedelser inför en tävling och hennes engagemang i ungdomar. När tid och rum försvinner vid tävlingsdags. Johanna går alltid upp klockan fem och hon älskar mörkret, att tända massa ljus, dricka kaffe och har sin egentid i nästan två timmar varje morgon. Hon tränar med PT, träning som är ryttarfokuserad. Dagarna kretsar kring tid i stallet och coachklienter.
