Dr. Dunlap is a highly specialized and trained ENT physician, otolaryngologist trained in all aspects of ENT, however his passion and primary focus is the treatment of head and neck cancer.    Dr. Dunlap works for Greater Knoxville Ear Nose and Throat in Knoxville, TN  On this episode we get to hear Dr. Dunlap’s personal story with his own journey into medicine and how that experience steered him into the medical field ENT medicine with a specialization in head and neck cancer.   In this episode, Dr. Dunlap gives you a crash course on the subject of head and neck cancer and specifically answer these questions: What should I do if I think I may have head and neck cancer?  What is free flap reconstruction or free tissue transfer and why is it utilized?
