Should I Try to Become an Air Traffic Controller?

In this episode, I talk about some questions you should ask yourself if you are interested in becoming an air traffic controller.This career is not for everybody. If your strengths are not geared towards this type of career then, even if you are successful at the Academy, you may find that this career has just turned into a JOB. And not a very fun job at that.Some questions to ask yourself ( or ask someone who knows you really well)Do I like a fast paced work environment?Can I think on my feet quickly?Can I make decisions quickly?There are other questions to ask, they will be different for everyone, but these are some that everyone should ask before you start this journey.I have worked with people, and seen students, who can do this job, but it can ruin their life and take all of the joy out of life.
