Sa "faute" ? Avoir défini son propre métier.Ce cas, il n'est pas australien. Il est universel. En Belgique, en France, partout — le système demande encore à des professionnelles formées et expérimentées de justifier leur existence sans médecin. Et cette injonction, elle repose sur une croyance profondément ancrée, socialement acceptée, médicalement entretenue : sans obstétricien présent, ce n'est pas vraiment safe.Aujourd'hui, on la déconstruit.On parle de la définition officielle de la sage-femme selon la Confédération Internationale des Sages-Femmes.
