Side Quest Reviews: Cross S2 E1-4

Welcome to Side Quest Reviews, presented by WIGTP!This series is all about the shows we’re currently watching, with new episodes dropping weekly. We’re kicking off this new series with the Amazon Prime show Cross, starring Aldis Hodges. We reviewed Season 1 back in 2024 (Episode 131: Cross) and absolutely loved it, so naturally, we have to dive into Season 2. This episode covers Episodes 1–4, exploring all the madness these first few episodes have introduced. We dig into Alex’s relationships with El, Kayla, and John, and discuss the season’s storytelling, which feels very much like art imitating life, especially given current events. Jason shares a bold prediction, and Jazz expresses her excitement to see Bobby Trey back in the mix. We’ll save our “Was It Good Though?” verdict until the end of the season, but so far, it’s easy to see where the hosts are leaning. Side Quest Reviews will drop weekly, so stay tuned!
