Sigourney Weaver: Film icon on her latest movie 'My Salinger Year'

Sigourney Weaver is an icon of the film world. She has such a wide array of film credits – her breakthrough was as Ellen Ripley in Ridley Scott’s Alien, there was Ghostbusters, Avatar, Gorillas in the Mist, The Ice Storm. I could go on and on The last couple of years have been busy for Sigourney, she’s been in TV show Call My Agent, as well as filming for upcoming sequels of James Cameron’s Avatar. Her latest film, My Salinger Year, is having its New Zealand premiere at the New Zealand International Film Festival. Weaver plays Salinger’s agent, and mentor to her new young assistant.  Sigourney Weaver joined Francesca Rudkin. LISTEN ABOVESee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
