Simon Says "What Constitutes Happy Now?" on Recovery Now with Kim Justus

from A Recovery Now · host Kim Justus

Author and 4th Wednesday of each month Co-Host, Simon Lewis and I will be discussing "Happy". We all had things that defined our sense of happiness before our injuries. Post injury, we have to redefine our perception of what "Happiness" is for us. Happiness provides us a life worth living. If we hang on to our old ideas of happiness, we are apt to be sorely disappointed. Some may wondr if happiness is even possible after a disability is incurred. We're here to tell you YES! It may not be what we expected, but it is obtainable.   This show is a gathering place for anyone seeking recovery from the challenges of life on life's terms. We discuss useful tools that have helped us lighten the load, of our journey through recovery. This is a "we" recovery program, because it is in the "we," that we find the new "me." We focus on the four A's of Recovery: Awareness, Acceptance, Action and Adaptation. This is a place for survivor's striving to become thrivers. Warriors! Front part of show is a featured guest. The second is Open Mic and some great Indy Music sure to inspire! Host is Kim Justus, author of In a Flash: Miracles Here and Beyond found at inaflash.org & "Like" at facebook.com/inaflash.org    Simon Lewis can be found at riseandshinethebook.com
