Simon Small, SaaS Elevator

He has spent the past 15 years pioneering SaaS with 3 category-leading SaaS businesses (valued at over $4bn). He set up Diligent in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa region which grew to become the category leader for board portals (and is now the world leader in GRC - Governance Risk Compliance solutions). Diligent listed on the NZX the same year as Xero and built its business by providing outstanding customer success, excellent security and an interface that directors of the world's largest corporations found as easy to use as a paper board pack. Simon then co-founded Arria NLG, which is an AI company and the category leader in Natural Language Technologies (specifically Natural Language Generation: transforming structured data into natural language). Arria's tools and platform replicate the human [Hu] process of expertly analyzing and communicating data insights (AI + HU). Arria is expected to list on the NYSE in 2023. Simon is deeply involved in the local SaaS community leading and training founders on how to scale and grow their businesses to $200m ARR (focussing on Strategy, Capital & Revenue). He has a podcast called SaaS on the Street featuring founders from around the world. SaaS Elevator is his training and events company which last year helped SaaS Founders raise over $40m in capital and one of these SaaS Businesses then hired him for the last year as their Chief Revenue Officer full-time (he is on the look out to scale another SaaS Business anywhere in the world - so if you hear of one, let him know!).
