Today we bring awareness to our Heart center, Awareness to the action of Grasping and holding, and learning to let go by meditating on simply ‘I am “ According to ancient wisdom, the human being is seen as a building that has ten doors. Five incoming senses: the sense of Sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch are the entrance doors, and five outward actions: elimination, procreation, movement, grasping, and speech are the exit doors. Consciously, actively and intentionally witnessing these ten senses as they function as we interact with our own self and with the surrounding physical world, manifest nourishing creative response towards our interactions. Cultivating to withdraw them termed as “pratyahara “ to see it non judgmentally, staying detached towards our actions and sensory input is a very important part of meditation. It does not mean that we do not enjoy life, and its actions and sensory experiences. Rather, these are enjoyed more fully, in a spirit of wisdom, freedom, and non-attachment. It surely enhances our life experience and brings maximum efficiency. At the same time cultivating this awareness helps us identify that "Who I am is independent of my actions and sensory input and fulfillment". I am is a silent observer of our actions. Bringing awareness to our outward going actions can help us to make nourishing choices towards our interactions with the physical world. This meditation is about announcing our trillions of cells to stay aware of our actions to keep it in harmony with the physical body and cosmos. It’s about calming our mind chatter with a positive affirmation. It’s about connecting to mother earth and feeling grounded, connected, and supported. To touch base to our inner silence, the source of infinite creativity, infinite potentiality, infinite connectedness, peace, love, and blissfulness to manifest the same in our lives.  Visit our website iavani.com for more mediation audio and classes.
