sketch #2 (live Remix)

8 sketch #2 (live remix) Another live remix from the “travel light” EP (2018). Some samples from the original track are pitched down rather extremely and played back from the STS (Stereo Triggered Sample) module by 4ms. The two independent samplers trigger each other automatically after the current sample has finished playing.. so altering the sample length of any of them causes the tempo to shake a little bit. --- about the album: Denmark, like most european countries, is currently on lockdown because of the COVID-19 pandemic. All this time indoors brought me to check into some archive recordings. Mostly, live-recordings and improvisations from my home studio in Refshaleøen, Copenhagen. The recordings span from early 2018 until a few days ago and most of them were never meant to be "pieces" or "tracks". Yet there is something appealing about them, just because of that. Here, you will find some possible ideas for future tracks, "live-remixes" of previously released tracks, improvisations and some bleep bloop just-testing stuff. Listening back to all this music, I can't honestly remember how I did half of it. It almost feels like someone else's music. I like that. I hope you like it too. credits released March 20, 2020 Composed, performed, recorded, mixed and mastered by Xavier Bonfill between January 2018 and March 2020. Instruments: assorted Eurorack Synth modules, Teenage Engineering Op1 & PO32, voice, maybe something else that was lying around.
