Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengance of the Slayer (2023): Are We Immune to This Kind of Nostalgia?

For this week, we've decided to pick up our first boomer shooter of the podcast, and what a hell of a game this turned out to be. Slayers X is a spin-off/follow-up to 2019's Hypnospace Outlaw, and is a game created by the fictional character of Zane Lofton. It's full of 90s nostalgia, hackblood charges, and just so, so many poop jokes.  In this episode: we've got new intro music (thanks cliff!), nu metal, 90s charm, rats, our boomer shooter experiences, zane is a loser, old people are weird, the cutscenes rule ~shoutouts zone~ Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengance of the Slayer  Hypnospace Outlaw  Slayers X - All Rat Voicelines  Chex Quest  Blood: Fresh Supply  ~~~ Our theme music is Glass Half Full by the incredible Cliff, you can find him on Bandcamp!
