Sliced and Diced! Episode #3: Alice Guo, Part 2:

First and foremost: Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of the Philippines, China, Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, and everywhere else that had to deal with Typhoon Yagi. We wish you the fast and fullest recovery possible. We are taking another look into what is happening with the Alice Guo case in the Philippines. If you haven’t heard; the former mayor of the city of Banban, in the northern Philippines was summoned to appear before the Philippine Senate to answer questions about her legal status in the country, and her business. Seeing no good outcome, she flew the coop, bribed customs officers to leave, and did a whistle stop tour of Southeast Asia. The Indonesian police arrested her outside of Jakarta and had her extradited back to Manila, where she has been charged with money laundering (and potentially more nefarious crimes to boot). Alice is now back in Manila’s hands, and is starting to talk…and what she will tell will no doubt add a whole ‘nother layer of madness to this tale. This is a public episode.
