Change is a journey between where you are and where you will be. In NLP we express that as the journey between the present state and the desired state. If you do not have what you want in your life, it is because the path is blocked by an issue or problem – perhaps a habit you want to change. It is in this space we get to uncover the programs you are running and help you reprogram the unconscious mind to change that behaviour. The instruction to change comes from your conscious mind, but it is the unconscious mind that learns the new way of doing things and produces the new behaviour. The unconscious mind is everything that is not part of your conscious awareness – it is the home of your beliefs, motivations and behaviours. It acts in habitual repeated ways. It is your unconscious mind that carries out an instruction from the conscious mind. For example imagine sitting down – it is your unconscious that tells your limbs what to do.
