How To Avoid Running Out of Topics to Discuss on your Show?-Engage with your audience to uncover topics or angles for shows -Ask for questions or contributions as it is a show for the listener.-Maybe ask your audience for guest ideas -Think of questions your audience might be asking about your show topic-Do a show about the fact that you need your audience to contribute some topic ideas.-Scrape show topic ideas from other media sources in your genre-Think about important search keywords or phrases to find topics for the showWhat is a Double-Ender Recording?-I just did an interview on the “My Worst Interview Ever” podcast yesterday with the CEO of Ringr.com using a double-ender recording platform. This platform can be used with a Spreaker hosting account as a way to do mobile interviews.-Double-Ender recordings are mobile phone recordings that in each callers IP phone calls are recorded locally and then after completing, then the app uploads both ends of the recording to the server and combines them.-They are Ringr, and Zencast-I love the mobile compatibility of Ringr, though it’s a little expensive at $18.99/month. The basic Ringr account doesn’t let you download your audio in separate tracks, which makes it useless in my opinion.-Ultimately, for my own purposes, I’ve opted to go with Ringr. The show host came into my chat room last night, and my overly sensitive listeners got into a pissing match with her. No big deal. I have no issue with host. But twice tonight, a couple of trolls or maybe one, which I have now blocked, have started posting. Including the second time, posting so many times, that it actually froze my studio.
