Sami Zayn beats CM Punk! WWE SmackDown I honestly cannot believe what happened tonight. Sami Zayn defeated CM Punk and became the new Undisputed WWE Champion, and that was just one part of what made this such an incredible SmackDown. From the opening of the show all the way to the end, WWE kept giving us things to talk about. There were great matches, big moments, surprises, and storylines that actually felt like they were moving forward. And yes, we're definitely talking about Sami Zayn vs. CM Punk, the shocking championship change, and what this means for both guys going forward. But I also want to talk about everything else that made this show so good — Chelsea Green vs. Nia Jax, Rey Fenix vs. Ricky Saints, Damian Priest and R-Truth vs. The War Raiders, Nikki Bella vs. Paige, Randy Orton, Baron Corbin, Trick Williams, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and more.
