Smart Money Cafe: Southwest Airline Emergency Landing
from Smart Money Cafe™ · host Sean Rogers
Southwest Airline flight has to make an emergency landing when it suffers a massive engine failure. Metal from the engine breaks one of the windows and a passenger is almost sucked out of it. Our hearts go out to the 143 horrified passengers and especially the injured person who was almost sucked out of a small airplane window. On the money side of this story, we were curious if the incident affected the Southwest stock prices. So the Smart Money Cafe team did a little research. It turns out the emergency had very little if any affect on the stock. Luckily Southwest has a very good track record with airline safety. Lastly, cheers to the pilot and co-pilot who safely landed the plane. They had a blown engine, broken window, depressurized cabin, and 143 horrified passengers. Yet they managed to land the plane safely. Smart Money Cafe https://smartmoneycafe.com
