In this episode, we share about our personal experiences learning Chinese and how/why the end results may have differed in our later years despite both of us attending the same length of schooling. We also talk about how our experiences may be shaping our journey to teaching our children the language now and some of the mental toll it has taken.This episode explores our personal desires to try to preserve our mother tongue but also the grief of letting some things go in the bicultural world our children are growing up in.
