SNIPPET - A1 - G. - Live In Japan (PV Edit )
from OYE BERLIN · host OYE BERLIN
Order: https://oye-records.com/releases/various-modern-obscure-edits-vol1A1 - G. - Live In Japan - PV Edit B1 - SS. - My Man - Da Silva Edit B2 - OIA - Somerset - Jimmi Bazzouka Edit MOED is a very special selection of obscure edits, a side project from MOM, based in Barcelona. The idea of this “DJ USE ONLY” material comes from Da Silva, an undercover label partner and a great collector, who made one of the edits. This EP also features well known producers like Jimi Bazzouka aka Joakim and Pedro Vian, the label owner. Obscure Edits Volume 1 has a distinct 1980s feel, with each editor breathing new life into their chosen track. The first edit on the EP is PV’s edit Live In Japan. It features powerful synths, tight percussion and as you might expect, Japanese vocals. Next up is Da Silva’s version of My Man. This edit sees layered synths and a bassline provide a wonderful groove, where they are joined by heartbroken vocals. Finally, we have Jimi Bazzouka aka Joakim’s take on Somerset Hills. Here, a playful flute with an eastern feel is laid over strong keys and adaptable percussion. This is a strong selection of edits, which are ready for the dancefloor.
