We speak about The International Centenary Conference on “Lenin, Leninism, Africa & the World” which will be held in Abuja, Nigeria on January 21-24, 2024. Lenin died on January 21, 1924 and January 21, 2024 marks one hundred years since his death. The "Call for Abstracts" for the conference reads "He was the greatest advocate of working peoples power in the 20th century, an intellectual and a revolutionary theoretician, strategist, tactician, organiser, and leader of the first successful Marxist revolution in human history." We discuss the conference and as well as the significant differences between Leninism and Marxism when compared to Neo-Liberalist ideologies.
