Asked about the impact of Zionist bombings all over the region Makerem said "the impact is huge, there are several villages that are defacto-occupied now in South Lebanon, and they already lost their olive season." And now Lebanese Government is moving to enact a seed law that heavily favors multinational corporations over small farmers in the country as has been done in many other countries before.
