SNV Special Report: Colonialism, The Coup Belt And Shifting Geopolitical Power

Special Report (12/7/2023) In this special we briefly discuss colonialism, and the anti-colonial struggles from Palestine to Africa. We also cover the recent coups in West Africa and requests by some African governments for the removal of European and UN troops. Also included is an interview of Rick Majumdar with the Progressive Student Union at the University of Texas at Arlington and the National Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression at Dallas. The interview is from shortly after the coup in Niger and focuses on the Sahel Region as well as the expansion of the BRICS Alliance. BRICS is a group of countries consisting of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
