SOCCER: Presentation Athenry joint manager Joe Finnerty after their FAI Schools First Year Girls National Cup Final victory

Presentation College Athenry are the FAI Schools First Year Girls National Cup champions following a 3-2 victory over St. Mary’s High School, Midleton in Jackman Park, Limerick on Monday (18th May 2026). Róisín Hannon struck twice for the Galway school to overturn an early one goal deficit, before Aoibheann Burkes’s goal on 31 minutes ensured this was Athenry’s day.
