Send us Fan MailSocial Media for Contractors There is a big misconception in the contractors’ industry that social media wastes time. We are past the day and age when people used social media to stalk their exes and high school classmates. Social media is a powerful marketing tool for businesses across all industries. If you are a contractor and you are not on social media, you are missing out on some opportunities. You are not presenting yourself in front of your target audience. How should they know about your business?  As a contractors’ coach, I highly recommend using social media to tell the world about your business. It is important to note that not all social media platforms will work for you. Choosing channels that sit well with you and where your target audience hangs out would be best.  Once you have your social accounts in place, content creation is the next step. For example, if you are a plumber, go ahead and post videos of yourself doing your job. Post at least thrice a day, and make sure you update your stories now and then. I know some of you cannot stand the camera for various reasons. My advice is you keep doing it. In no time, all the fear will go away. If you need inspiration, look at what my friend Roger is doing on YouTube. Listen to this episode to hear more.
