Sometimes, I feel guilty living the dream life I've Always wanted

from Life in Progress · host Angely Dub

Living the dream life I have always wanted is a privilege, but only some experience. However, there are moments when I can't help but feel guilty for having everything I ever wished for. Acknowledging and reflecting on this guilt is essential to fully appreciate and make the most of the opportunities that come my way. I may feel guilty about living my dream life because of societal disparities. While I enjoy luxuries and comforts, many others struggle to meet their basic needs. This juxtaposition can create guilt and a sense of responsibility to give back and positively impact the world. Moreover, achieving my dream life may have required sacrifices or compromises. This could include prioritizing personal goals over relationships or missing out on experiences with loved ones. These trade-offs can lead to feelings of guilt for putting my desires above others. Feeling guilty about living the dream life I wanted is a normal part of the human experience. By acknowledging these feelings and using them as motivation to give back, make a difference, or show gratitude for what I have, I can continue to live authentically and purposefully.
