Sonohr Interview with Sound Artist Tim Shaw

At the Sonohr Festival 2023 in Bern, sound artist Tim Shaw took us on an «ambulation». A group of people walked around town with Shaw who was equipped with several different types of microphones and a mobile mixing desk. He recorded environmental sounds and electromagnetic humming from traficlights to security gates and curated the resulting soundscape for all us listening in with cordless headphones.This experience offered a surprising view of our immediate surroundings.
