Sorry Coach Jeffries, We Are Approaching Midterm Game Day and the Leader Can't Be the Distraction

We are several days deep into the controversy surrounding the Hakeem Jeffreies and Jred Kushner secret meeting and the fall out is obvious. First off, Hakeem was played because in leaking the story MAGA has gotten the Democrats unfocused for three full days. Instead of energizing a huge voter turnout, Hakeem is backpedaling and gaslighting. That is his fault. Not our fault. With 70 days until game day, the Leader should be laser-focused on the task at hand, not pussyfooting around with the opposition. Any sports fan knows that coaches lecture their players on not creating bulletin board material, trying to keep them locked on performance not theatrics. Thus, it is an egregious leadership violation to be the distraction and that is Hakeem. This is why he does not have the judgment or the court awareness to make the right play. Mark and Brock have bemoaned the lack of leadership on the Left for 18 months, but at ttis point would rather no leadership than a poor one.Please spare us the affordability sham as the reason for a clandestine meeting. Jared, nor Trump, care a lick about the problems of the American people. They are in this for personal enrichment. So Hakeem can save us the attempt at gaslighting. Brock finds himself shocked to agree with the take of James Carville who says the only time he wants to hear from Jared is under oath. We can put this issue to bed for now if Hakeem promises to stay out of the way, but he should definitively be replaced after the Midterms, Win or lose. He is not in tune with his electorate.Also, a sad RIP to Dolly Parton one of the great performers and humanitarians of our lifetime. She provided the blueprint for using one's success to uplift others in so many ways. We have lost a giant.
