Versatile Sourdough Recipe Jen Chambers, adapted from Mother Earth News Magazine3 c. warm water1 1/2 Tablespoons yeast, salt, sugar6 1/2 c flour of choice*Pour water in a large bowl. Add yeast, salt, sugar; stir with whisk to blend. Mix in flour a cup at a time. Use immediately, or (preferred) chill in the refrigerator for a few hours or up to a week. Uses: Focaccia bread (pat into rectangle. poke holes in top, brush with olive oil, sprinkle with herbs), Pizza dough.
