Spanish Firefighters Battle Intense Wildfires In Huesca And Huelva Through The Night

Huesca and Huelva, Spain – UME firefighters worked through the night battling wildfires in the Peñas de Riglos and Niebla areas. Crews carried out several operations, including establishing fire perimeters, making direct attacks with water, conducting aerial drone reconnaissance, monitoring the fires and extinguishing secondary fire outbreaks. Footage shows a firefighter in UME gear directing a hose at a massive wall of orange flames. Other firefighters spray water onto burning vegetation as thick smoke fills the area. Bulldozers operate under bright lights, clearing ground and creating firebreaks while dust and smoke rise around them.
