This is Derek Miller, Speaking on Business. Hale Centre Theatre has become a cornerstone of Utah’s arts community, drawing audiences from across the region and beyond. Known for its scale and impact, the theatre continues to connect people through live performances. Co-founder, Sally Dietlein, joins us with more. Sally Dietlein: For over 40 years, Hale Centre Theatre has been dedicated to enriching lives through world-class theatre. What began as a small community stage has grown into one of the highest attended professional theatres in the nation, welcoming nearly 700,000 guests each year on three stages. Our mission is to create exceptional theatre experiences that bring people together. We combine timeless stories with innovative productions and cutting-edge stage technology to create moments that move audiences and strengthen our community. Education and access are central to our work. Each year, Hale Centre Theatre donates more than 25,000 tickets to local schools and nonprofit organizations, offers half-price youth tickets, and provides free theatre experiences to over 14,000 students annually. As a not-for-profit arts organization, Hale Centre Theatre is grateful for this community’s support. Because of its patrons, these stories come to life — uplifting, connecting and making a difference for good.
