LAVANYA MAHATE: Utah’s greatest asset is our people and our workforce. Thanks to a number of donors and supporters, we were able to launch the RISE kitchen in Sugar House. First of its kind in Utah to provide free culinary training and job placement for refugees, RISE helps people who have been forced to flee to restart their lives and build better futures. We welcome passionate, talented and creative individuals from our refugee community to apply for this free program.
