Special English edition: Dr. Liu about "Journey to the West"

Special English edition: Recently Ilon Huang talked to Dr. Liu Chiung-yun (劉瓊云) from the Institute for Chinese Literature and Philosophy from the Academia Sinica here in Taipei about the famous Chinese novel 西游記 in English "Journey to the West". We already broadcasted the translated German version, but it was such an entertaining and interesting interview that we would like to share the original interview so more people can listen to it.  In this interview Dr. Liu introduces the story and its main characters, their strengths and flaws, the aspects of Buddhism, Confucianism and Taosim in this story, if the story has some political themes and in the end Dr. Liu reveals which of the many adaptions of "Journey to the West" (movies, games, television shows etc.) is her favorite one. Spoiler Alert: She still prefers the written version.
