Spiritual Gifts? Your First Love? Sinners or Saints?

Who are those who "have ears to hear" according to Jesus? Am I a "lone ranger Christian," and should I be concerned? If I don't speak in tongues, do I not have the Holy Spirit? What's the meaning of the Revelation 2 warning to the church of Ephesus about forgetting their first love? Are we as believers regarded as "sinners" or "saints" or both? Is the doctrine of original sin (sin and death through Adam) biblical or not?
