How did giants reappear after the flood? How were stones moved to build the pyramids? What are your thoughts on the Calvinist "tulip"? Is it a sin to say curse words?

My pastor goes on long, political rants and often seems distracted from the gospel. What should I do? What is the truth about the doctrine of election? Did Jesus die for everyone? What about Calvinism and Arminianism? Did God predestine some to believe while others have no chance?

Hungry for More than Milk? This message reveals a stunning truth: Jesus gets you. He understands. Not from a distance. Not from a throne room. From experience. He stepped into your struggle. He knows your pain. With Him, there is no scorekeeping, no distance, no performance review. Just a High Priest with scars who meets you in your worst moments with mercy, grace, and an unshakable salvation. He is not like the old. He is better in every way. And He is yours. Discussion Questions for Hebrews 5: Why is it important that Jesus truly became human to represent us? How does Jesus' compassion differ from human, weakness-based compassion? What are the benefits of Jesus being both the Son of God and our High Priest? Verse 7 says Jesus prayed with loud crying and tears. What does this reveal about Jesus? React to this statement: Like Jesus, we learn obedience, even while we're righteous. Read verse 9. How should we understand "obey Him" in the context of Hebrews 1-5? In your own words, explain the role and importance of Melchizedek. What's the difference between spiritual "milk" and "the word of righteousness"?

Our church gets a lot of things right, but they still don't teach total forgiveness. What should I do? Do you think Jesus showed up in the Old Testament? If so, where? How should we interpret John 15:13 about giving up one's life for his friends? Is this a good definition of sin: "following my desires instead of God's desires"? What are my true desires?

Does more persecution mean more rewards for us in heaven? Is that what Jesus teaches in Matthew 5? Why does Paul say he "beats his body" and makes it his "slave"? And he does it ao he won't be disqualified?

Are you relaxing with God? Discussion Questions for Hebrews 4: What does it mean to "enter God's rest"? Is it salvation or something more? Explain your answer. Why do the seven days of creation in Genesis appear in this chapter?What parallel can be drawn? What keeps people from entering God's rest? How is this different from a behavior-centered gospel? How does verse 7 reveal the truth about the freedom we have to accept or reject the gospel message? How can someone "be diligent" to enter God's rest? What kind of high priest is Jesus? What makes Him this way? To what degree can we enjoy God? What can we always expect from Him?

Why do some translations of John 3:16 not say "begotten"? What does "begotten" refer to? Hasn't Jesus always existed? In Genesis 6, God sees evil everywhere. What about now? And does He see believers the same way? What does "I die daily" mean in 1 Corinthians 15? What did Jews in the Old Testament (and now) think of the Holy Spirit? *previously aired

I've believed in God my whole life, but I don't have a relationship with Jesus. What am I doing wrong? How do I explain "count yourselves dead to sin"? What does that mean? Is it wrong for Christians to listen to secular music? 

How can I encourage my friend who is depressed? Her belief system seems to be the source! What do the five spiritual senses represent in your book, "Heaven is Now"? Who is the antichrist? My friends tell me we are still under the law and that we're fulfilling it as we love people. Is that right? What is grace? When Jesus ascended, whom did He send as the Comforter? Is there a person we should be waiting for?

Have you entered the promised land of Jesus? If so, then relax! Discussion Questions for Hebrews 3: Why is Jesus compared to Moses in this chapter? To make what point? How does Moses as a "servant" (v.5) and Jesus as a "Son" (v.6) bring even further clarity to the contrast? How might this get you thinking about your own role with God? What does the example of their forefathers in the wilderness for forty years illustrate for the original readers of this epistle? How does the picture of leaving Egypt, being in the desert, and entering the Promised Land clarify the real meaning of "hold fast" and "until the end"? The synonyms "sinned" (v.17) and "disobedient" (v.18) and "unbelief" (v.19) help answer the following question: Is Hebrews warning Christians they will lose their salvation if they commit too many sins? Explain. In light of the truths in these first three chapters, what does it mean to "consider Jesus" (v.1)? What is the biggest thing you have gleaned from this chapter? How might it impact the way you relate to God?

How do you reconcile Revelation 7 and 19 with the church being left behind and not "taken away"? At what point were the Jews no longer doing the right thing with their Temple practices? Also, wasn't righteousness always by faith anyway? Did Martin Luther delete certain books from the Bible? A Catholic person told me that Protestantism is a cult and that Catholicism is the only true faith. How do I respond to this?

Does "like a thief in the night" mean Jesus is returning quietly and secretly? In practical terms, what does it mean to "present your bodies as a living sacrifice" (Romans 12)? How does bearing the fruit of the Spirit in our lives actually happen?

Should we look to Israel as our prophetic time clock? What is eternal life in Hell really like? Is it possible that households are automatically saved after one parent believes? Do I have to read the Bible or are there other, more enjoyable ways for me personally to learn more about the gospel?

Some people in our Bible study think they have to act perfectly sinless to make it to heaven. Are they right? What about after salvation? Do we have to be broken, or crushed, or experience extreme pressure in order to be used by God or enjoy the anointing of the His Spirit?

What does the resurrection mean for us personally? I just got saved recently, and now they say I need the gift of tongues to be truly saved! Why did Jesus ask the rich young ruler, "Why do you call me good?"? Are there two final judgments or only one? What will it be like? My son has joined a cult, and I'm asking you to pray for him!*

One is taken and another is left behind? But the church meets Jesus in the air? One return of Christ or two? One final judgment or two? Plus, how does all this jive with the tribulation and the millennial reign?

Years ago, I felt pressured to marry my wife and now we don't have the romantic relationship I feel we should. What should I do? What are the rules for physical intimacy in dating? My husband has been asked to sponsor a relative for his Catholic confirmation. How should we reply?

Are works required to be saved? If not, then what does James 2 mean about faith and works? Does saving faith produce change? What is the easiest way to start and lead a home group that shares the grace message? Does 1 Timothy 5 mean that I have to financially support parents that have been unhealthy or abusive to me? How do I do the honorable thing without being consumed with bitterness or resentment?

Did the book of Daniel prophesy about the current war in Iran? And isn't the appearance of the word "fury" in the Old Testament more than a coincidence(Operation Epic Fury)? Hebrews Warns Unbelievers (NOT Believers) About Neglecting Salvation! Discussion Questions: eb, App, RSS If Jesus is the "exact representation" of God's nature, what does that do to our view of God? How does it impact your view of Jesus to know He is Creator and "upholds all things by the word of His power"? Why is "He sat down" such a loaded phrase after saying He "made purification of sins"? Why does the writer make such a big deal about Jesus being better than the angels? React to this statement: The universe will wear out but Jesus remains the same. React to this statement: Worship, sonship, throne, kingdom, the right hand—these belong only to Jesus! How do "pay much closer attention" and "neglect so great a salvation" give proper context to the warnings that appear later in Hebrews 6 and 10?

Why are so many scared of too much grace? What does the Bible actually say about grace? I've read so many passages that freak me out and make me think I have no chance of entering God's kingdom. Do we need to ask God to forgive us every time we sin? What about confessing to one another?

Did God predestine sin in order to show off His glory? My friend said we can fall away and lose our salvation, because her brother did. Is that true? What do we do when we sin? Are you saying sin is okay?

How does the resurrection assure us that Christ's work on the cross truly accomplished salvation? How does belief in the resurrection change the way we think about death and loss? What does Paul mean when he says Christians would be "most to be pitied" if hope in Christ were only for this life? What does the image of "firstfruits" teach us about Christ's resurrection, our future resurrection, and our lives right now?
