I'm looking for a harvest for my God is real. Hello everybody, welcome back to Spiritual Impact. Today we're going to be talking about the Word of God as we said around the table and find out what God has to say to us in the Word. Because today the Word is a living Word that speaks to us.
It's engrafted. It will become part of us when we listen to the Word of God. And I'm a sociopaster Steve Rose and I'm here with my pastor and your pastor, Dan Parton. And today he's going to have a lesson for us from the Word of God.
I know it's going to stir up the gifts that's inside of us and it's going to change our lives when we hear the Word. Amen. It's always good when we can get into the Word of God and study and find out all his promises and how that our life can be enriched more daily and that's through about him, through about him. But it's a pleasure to be able to come before you each and every week and we thank you that have taken the time to join us.
Maybe this is your first time and I hope that you enjoy it all. May plans to be back with us again each and every week as we just tell you how the Word of God truly does impact our life. And today we're going to come to you out of Galatians chapter 2. We're going to read verse 20 and the Word says, I am crucified with Christ.
Nevertheless, I live, yet not I, but Christ liveth in me. In the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. And we're talking here about our life in Christ. I don't think people really pay enough attention to the battle and the victory that was won at the Cross of Calvary pastor Steve.
I mean we look upon that and say, Jesus came and he died for me that I could be saved. And a lot of people get all wrapped up in just that, but looking at what a price that was paid. And it took major battle that took place at the Cross of Calvary. Jesus was dying for my sins, pastor Steve sins for everybody.
That took a lot. And what a major victory that he would endure, all that shame and suffering on the Cross. And then he could proclaim Father, it is finished. And then it's where our life truly begins and everything that we ever hope to have or ever hope to gain, ever ever hope to be comes through his finished work at the Cross of Calvary.
Paul recognized that. And when you look at that again, I'm crucified with a crop. And I say, I live. I tell you, praise God and you know what, I live in more abundantly now.
Because it says before that we were dead and our trespasses and sin. But you know, when we were yet sinners crossed out for us, that's how much he loved this. Didn't leave me dead and my trespasses and sin. He's crucified for me.
And now I'm resurrected. I tell you, praise God. The Spirit is by the power of the Holy Spirit of God. It's within me by the power of the Word of God and what Jesus did at the Cross.
The finished work. How will do you? Amen. I know too many times, especially in the church world, people get wrapped up and they make a list of things that they feel like they need to do.
Like we have to earn, there's nothing we can do to earn the gift of salvation. That is a free gift of God. And I like the fact that Jesus died upon the cross and was buried and rose again on the third day and he said to ride and have a father make an intercessions. But you know what, this is not about us physically dying.
This is about us spiritually living in Him. You know what? And now we have to crucify the flesh daily, die to the old sin nature and our worldly desires that we have. But we have the strength and the power to do that because Jesus overcame everything at the cross.
Everything that we would ever have to endure, that we would have to go through, he paid the prize for us. He said it was finished. It was complete. It was all settled.
Everything. You don't understand what I've gone through in life. I don't, but Jesus has already paid the prize. He's already brought you the victory.
That great battle that he fought on Calvary and he was victorious. And because he's victorious. We're victorious, not in ourselves, but in Him. Not in the things that I do.
Now, works will be a fruit of the Spirit within our life, but we can't do any kind of work for our salvation. The same as that you pointed that out too, because you know what it says, it's not a workslease man should boast. And the salvation is the gift of God. But you know what it also says in their faith without works is dead.
And what that means, it doesn't mean that you're working for your salvation or there. It means the Spirit of God produces those works inside of your life. Now, what we're doing here today, you do it to the glory of God. You do it by the power of the Holy Spirit.
But just because I'm doing this today doesn't mean that I'm earning my way into heaven because I couldn't get there on my own. It took the blood of Jesus Christ. It took a blood sacrifice and it still does. And people may take the Ten Commandments out of the courthouses.
They may take them off walls. But today, the Ten Commandments will still be what you have to meet, the standard that you have to meet. And the only way that we can do that is by the blood of Jesus Christ. Because James says, hey, if you're guilty of one point of the Spirit or the Ten Commandments, he says you're guilty of all of them.
It's 100% or nothing. The only way we make it is by the blood of Jesus Christ. Amen. He is our reason for living.
He is our hope. He's our security. And everything that we have, we have the cause of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. All our sin was laid upon Him who knew no sin, but because He was willing to go, then his sacrifice was imputed to us for righteousness.
We are righteous through Him, in Him, not within ourselves. I understand how frail and feeble and weak this natural body is. Now this flesh is corruptible. But we take on the incorruptible man, which is Jesus Christ, that inner man who dwells on the inside, the Holy Spirit that He said, told the disciples, He told them I'm going.
He said, but when I go, I'm going to send Him the Comforter, the Holy Spirit leads God's and directs. I believe every child of God needs to be indwelled with the Holy Spirit because He's the one that will guide us and navigate us through the waters that we call life here and get us through. And if we learn how to walk daily by faith, the Bible teaches us if we can see something, why do we need to have faith for it if we can see it? But it's the things that we can't see.
We can't see salvation, but we feel it. We experience it. We know that it's real. Why?
Because we serve a risen Savior. He went to Calvary and He paid the price. He did die, and He was buried, but He did rise again. And He is coming back at the point of time to take us where He's prepared the place.
That gets me excited. This is our life. Our life is in Christ. And it's a full life.
There's nothing lacking. You know, we want to say, well, I ain't got a big bank account. Speak for yourself. I own it all.
Everything in heaven is mine. It's yours. Yes, we're rich in Christ. We need to get our focus off of material things.
It's going to pass away. Anyway, I don't care how rich you are. You ain't taking none of it with you. But the things that we do for God, that's what's going to last.
That's what speaks. I love to watch people's lives, not in judgment, but how God moves and how that He operates. And I love to watch God breathe on people with that Ruach Hockily. Amen.
I'll tell you that's something right there. You know the word of God says, you know, the word says we live His Christ and die His game and it says, you know, He says, I die daily. I mean, He doesn't mean dies in the flesh. They'll be die spiritually daily to the will of God.
And the word of God says, be you filled daily with the Spirit of God. Not just one time, not just twice a week or one time a week, but you give time. God will give you a little shot glass full of faith and maybe a little bit of power. That's not a matter of relationship every day that you're sitting there being filled with the Spirit of God.
And that's what the Holy Boldness is coming for. You're preaching like that line this morning. That boldness of the line, you know, I'll tell you praise God today. We serve the line of the tribe of Judah.
You know, we can't help but get excited because God is so vast. He's so big. He's so mighty. He's our Creator.
He's everything that we need. He said, you know, if I before you, there's not anything that can be against you. And I was listening to a study and that word, if should have been translated since I am for you, since the God of all glory loves you and he knows this by name and they ought to get us excited and maybe you didn't answer. Well, I don't understand what those two guys are that excited about.
I go to church. But you know what? I don't get excited because I go to church. I get excited because God lives on the inside.
My sins have been forgiven. I'm not going to hell because of what Jesus paid at Calvary. He bought my way out and through and by his sacrifice, I get to live with him throughout all eternity. That's enough.
That ought to get us all excited. We ought to be up and running around our living rooms wherever we're at. It doesn't take much to light the fuse when you love Jesus. I tell you what, he's good.
And when you look at, you know, church, the reason we don't get excited in church because we just expect to be another day, we don't realize we're coming together to worship the God who said let there be light and there was light. And yet while he's the creator of all things, he says, you can come into my presence. You come into, do we realize and understand that when we pray, it says that we enter the throne room of heaven. We stand before God our Father by the power of the Holy Spirit of God making intercession and he's praying according to the will of God and on the right hand is our intercessor Jesus Christ, the righteous one, the righteous judge.
And I tell you, that's something to get excited about right there. You realize and understand that you have a weight and face every situation in your life. You have promises in the Word of God, but many times we don't take it to the one who can help us. But if you don't take it to the one who can help you, how do you expect to get an answer?
But when you do, it says the Word of God says that his ear is inclined into the cry of the righteous. I mean, when we cry out to him, guess what he knows. I've told that in the story, I've been in the story before, you know, I've heard babies cry out and they'll call out and they'll say, I don't pay attention to it because of your dollar time, but you let my baby cry out. I'm going to tell you, I know the difference in it.
And you know, when I hear my baby cry out, I'm going to go find out what's wrong. I'm going to go find out what the problem is. And that's the way our Father is. You know, he says he's going to answer our prayers.
Sometimes they may be long coming in the answer to those prayers, but rest assured brothers and sisters, he will answer your prayer. You know, anytime, and we have the promise that he's always even by ourselves. But when we come together and we step foot in and our church houses or wherever we have gathered to meet into worship him, we have the promise that he is going to be in the midst. Now thinking that God is standing in a room with us, living on the inside of us, I tell you what, that art too, that just blows our mind.
Right here right now. Yes he is. And I hope that you can feel his presence because we have that promise. And you know, when we come before him, we're to come before him with thanksgiving, why?
Because we serve a God that we can expect and anticipate that he's going to fulfill his word in our life, not just today, not just tomorrow, but every day. He's the same yesterday, day, and for every tomorrow that will ever be, he doesn't ever change because he doesn't change. I know that his word doesn't change and I can rely on that. And I don't care what I'm going through, what I'm struggling through and we all fight battles.
And some of us, some of us seem like we're at the edge right now and we're teetering and maybe that's what God wants you to know. There's excitement, there's peace, there's joy. When you turn it over to him, the problem may still be there, but the problem solver is on the case. And one greater than the problem.
That's the whole thing, one greater than the problems there. No matter what we face, that's a good thing right there. He is there and runs the system until it takes his word. That's all it takes from him is a word to speak to that problem and you know that problem can come to an end right there.
But what we realize, many times don't understand is even though when we're going through those problems, he's teaching us. When we're going through those problems, he's building us, he's molding us, he's making us into the Christian, he wants us and needs us to be because he knows the future. He knows what we're going to face in the future and you know as we go through these things, it's like lifting weights, you know when you first start lifting weights, it's hard. It hurts and then you don't want to go back, but you know as you begin to lift weights more and more, what do you do?
You get stronger and you get stronger. And then when you face daily tasks, they tend to get easier because you're stronger. And he knows that there's storms coming in life. You may be in the midst of one or maybe on the Rosinary.
You may be selling out of it right now, but I won't tell you, no ship can go down when the master is on board. I was listening to a song the other day and it was talking about the trials and the problems and the tribulations of this world. May get us down, may get us discouraged, may strip us of dignity, may take everything away that we own that we have except for grace. No matter, you know, Job lost everything that he had, but he didn't lose out with God.
In the end, God restored him back double to what he had before. God can restore us today. And I'm glad for that. That's our walk with him when we don't live in the flesh, but we live in the spirit, in the life that he has provided.
Jesus has prepared good things for us. Bible says that all good gifts come from above, so that we can walk in that newness of life daily. And even when we get David said, we like to quote this a lot, David said, yeah, though, I walk through through the valley of the shadow of death. You know, everything is just a passing through till we get to home.
And until we get home, there's going to be struggles. There's going to be trials. Jesus said, in this life, you'll have tribulation, but in me, you'll have peace. He said, the world hated me.
Therefore they're going to hate you. I don't expect to get along with the world. I have no intention on getting along with the world because we don't have anything in common. Come on.
But now, the Bible says who's on the Lord's side. And so when you look at that 11th when you quoted there just a minute ago, yeah, you go walk through the valley of the shadow of death. It is a passing through. But even as you're passing through here on this earth, he says, but you're with me.
Amen. Your rod and your staff, they come from me. Now, the rod was used for correction. You know, sometimes we need to be corrected.
But you know, the staff was used for rescue. Oh, yeah. When you get off the track, he could rescue you and say, that's the God that you serve. Are we served today?
You know, that's the God that loves you right now. And I don't know what you're going through right now. But you know, whatever that situation may be, there's an answer. And the answer is Jesus.
You say, well, how can you say that? Because it's true. Jesus is the answer. But you know, it's turning it over to him.
It's trusting him. He's going to say it to be easy. Because I'm going to tell you a lot of things we face in life, just to tell you the truth. It's not easy.
But you know what? He says, I will be with you. And I found that he's been faithful and he's always been with me. I've been through situations that I thought, well, I could never get out of heaven and natural.
I would never get out of heaven. I'm going to tell you through him, I come out of those things. You know, why? Because I have faith in the one who can do it.
It's not faith in myself, it's faith in God. Now, we're not saying that life is a Christian is a, you don't have any situations that you go through. We're telling you that there's a spiritual battle out there. And the thing of it is, is we have to understand that even when we feel beaten down by the world, the process and we struggle.
And sometimes our faith does get a little weak because when you're going through, if you just got diagnosed with a major illness or something tragic happened in your life, it's going to be hard to just start jumping all over the place and being full of joy because you've just gone through a tragic struggle. But you know what? There's a peace that comes in there that says, I know that it's hard, but I'm here with you. And sometimes, if you ever just sometimes sit down past your step and just, you say, I know I'm saved, I don't feel saved, I don't know I'm saved.
But sometimes the world just leaves you so exhausted. But that's where our faith comes in. And that's the difference between feeling and fact. Because the thing is, you know what?
They may feel good, but I'm going to tell you, the fact is Jesus died on the cross for us. And he says, you know, whosoever, put their faith and trust in God. When you look at that faith and trust, it makes the same thing. It's trusting God.
It's like you trust the parachute to jump out of a plane. You believe that parachute is going to open. I'm going to tell you, that's the way we trust Jesus. We believe in all our faith and trust in him.
He is the one. He is the one that can shift people to the Kiendam of Heaven. There's one reason. It's the blood of Jesus Christ period.
That's it. Not messages I've reached, TV shows I've done. It's not any of those things that make me fit for the Kiendam of Heaven. It is the grace of God that comes with the blood of Christ.
And receiving the free gift. There's a lot of good moral people in the world that are on the way to hell. They do a lot of good in the world. But our salvation is not based on how we feel.
It's not based on emotions. It's not based on good deeds. If we have the love of God within us, we're going to want to help our fellow man. And if we're in a position to be able to do that, God honors that.
I believe that we should reach out to helping hand. But in the end, it's still salvation is a personal thing. And Steve can't have salvation for me or me, him. We have to have it for ourselves.
I have to ask Jesus to come into my heart and life as my Savior. When I do that, I have the promise that I will not be turned away. You say, well, if you knew what I had done in life, you would understand why I just, the Bible says, who so ever will. Now, if he's knocking on your hearts door, salvation is not turning over a new leaf.
Salvation is accepting the free gift of God paid for by a son Jesus Christ in repentance and to repent means to turn away from things and then life. We're going to have to turn away from some things if we're going to get to where God wants us to be and accept that he's in charge. We're not and we're going to have to walk that straight path. You may be off a little bit, but if you're truly seeking God, then you'll get back on that path very, very quickly because I know immediately, Pastor Steve, when I do or say something that doesn't necessarily, it's not even bad, but it's just could be construed and the spirit says, check, check right there.
I'm glad that we have that. I'm glad that we have that. We have those that we are sons and daughters of God. And when you're watching today, don't think that you're going to try to clean up first and then come back.
Jesus wants you to come to him just as you are. That's one of the things he was criticized for. He says, you know, why does your master go out and eat with sinners? And he told them, he says, listen, it's not the well that needs a physician.
He says, those that are sick. The only way that I can clean myself up, I could try all I want to every program out there, but the only time I could really clean myself up is when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and the power of the Holy Spirit came into my life and helped me to be a better person than I was before because the truth is, you can't clean yourself up without the help of God. It takes him. spirit to do that.
And many of the things that we face today are demonic, many of the things. And we don't realize and understand that there's spirits. And the only way we can battle spirits is through the power that God gives us and the weapons of His warfare. If God could pull the sky back and we could see what we're up against, He would terrify these flesh to death.
But I'm glad that our weapons are not carnal, but our spirituals are pulling down strongholds. God fights our battles. Therefore, we cannot lose. When we get in trouble, it's when we just try to take on the devil on His terms in our flesh.
We're going to lose that battle every time. But when we say, you know what, Jesus, when the devil came upon the mount, He gave him the word. And that's what we've got to do is speak that word as Pastor Steve said earlier. But truly, God wants to pour you full today to the point that you run over.
I was reading this more about the Prophet Joel. And in these last days, how God would pour out His Spirit upon all flesh. That's all people that will believe in Him and trust Him and allow Him to be the Lord of their life. And if you're out there and you're searching, Pastor Steve's going to take us to the Lord and prayer.
If you don't know Jesus, we want to present Him and introduce you right now to the one that can change your life and make all things new. That feeling that you're feeling right now is called conviction. And that's the convicting power, the Holy Spirit of God. It's not a convicting power that He doesn't like.
It's convicting power. He wants to save you. And the thing is right now, if we'll ask the Lord to come into our heart, I mean, we trust Him with our whole being. And we'll pray this prayer.
If you will pray this prayer with me. Father, I thank You that Jesus died on the cross of Calvary for me and that by the blood that He shed there on Calvary, You gave me forgiveness of my sin. Father, I ask You today for the gift of the Holy Spirit to teach me and guide me and to teach me about Jesus, to train me in the way that I should go. Father, I thank You Lord for the salvation we have in Jesus.
Thank You, Lord, that You have saved me. Thank You, Lord, that You will be the Lord and Savior of my life. And every Father of the Lord today, I commit my life to You. And these things I give thanks for in Jesus' name.
Amen. Amen. You know what? If we're walking in the faith and the love of Christ, it doesn't get any better than that.
