The word "attend" has the word "ten" in it. It's Latin. "Ten" is the same word in tendon, which holds together muscle and bone. It also means to stretch towards something, to give it special attention. At-ten-tion. It's there also, intention. So, when we attend to the mantra, we're holding on, we're stretching towards it, always keeping the mantra. And on my screen, I was just noticing that I left four items behind because I have those little air tags. And I was thinking how, if you chant the mantra, you'll get a little notice: "Four anarthas left behind," really, because Kṛṣṇa purifies us by the sound vibration. But we have to be innocent and we have to be sincere and really try to attend to the mantra always. This instruction this morning about just listen to the sound vibration, try to hear it, don't interpret it, but just be very patient and accept that it's an avatār of Kṛṣṇa in sound. Then everything's revealed.
