Well, I'm excited and I've watched some of your classes that you've done and I want to share with all of our listeners and viewers out there just why I thought you would be such an excellent guest. So, she is a speaker, author and transformation strategist Using her over 30 years of experience in education, leadership and personal growth to help hundreds of high achievers transform their lives from the inside out, reaching their goals in record time. And, Libby is also the founder and president of the international academy of self knowledge. She's a master practitioner of neuro-linguistic programming and the creator of transformational meditation, not to be confused with transcendental meditation and the creator of spiritual rehab, which is something we're going to talk about. It’s a 28-day transformational journey for those who do not have alcohol or substance abuses but Still want to rehab something in their lives. And I thought we kind of start off right there, which is, what actually led you to come up with this concept of a spiritual rehab. My ex-husband now ex-husband then husband played in the NBA for five years. And when he got cut in his fifth year from the Atlanta Hawks, he did not have the skills to make that transition to something he'd done all his life to the real world as I call it. So his best way of coping was to do drugs and alcohol, which landed him in a 28 day substance abuse program. Now that's great. And one day the executive director comes up to me and she says, your husband is doing so well. He's the president of the rehab group and I'm thinking, oh great, he's got rehab, they've got rehab. And I'm out here meanwhile, dealing with paying the bills, dealing with the chaos that got created, raising the kids and taking care of all of that stuff. And I was exhausted. I was exhausted and I was upset. Right. Because life is hard, marriage is hard, working is hard and we all need to rehab something. Right. So I said, where's my damn rehab? I'll never forget it. Gloria said, where's my damn rehab because I need to rehab some stuff as well. Right. And so it took me 20 years to come up with a program, but I did. I did. And then what's interesting. What happened is once he was clean and sober for a while, and this was like, all of this was like in 2001, he said, would you be willing to help me put together a rehab program for drugs and alcohol and use your transformational meditation? And I thought, yeah, I don't really want to do that, but my inner guidance was, yes, we're going to do it. So we did it and we got really good results because I had been at that point. I've been doing my own transformational work with people since 1994. So it was like seven years later. Right. And so we put that together and for two years it went great. And then after two years, I said, look, you've got your program. I'm going to go rewrite this for people that don't have drug issues or alcohol cause where is their rehab? Right. So I was really sensitive to that and that's exactly what I did. And so I went to India, I rewrote the program. And I've been doing that now for almost 19 years. And I wouldn't have, wouldn't have really thought to do any kind of rehab idea because normally everybody thinks it's for drugs to rehab. Right. But recently, I mean, how have you been rehabbing houses on those shows Gloria? Yeah. You know what houses get rehabbed? So it's like, yeah, we all need to rehab Something. we have our past, we have our emotions rehab, our health finances, career relationships, and all of that. So my tagline is We all need to rehab something. Right. But where are we supposed to go? I mean, you can't just go formerly you can't just go check into a 28-day program and say, oh, I hate my life. I hate my job. Can, you know, can I just check in for 28 days? It's like, no, but now people can and they don't need to check in. They don't need to be going to a facility all done on zoom all over the world. And that's what I've been doing. They and I work usually work seven days a week because I love it. Well, that's good. I'm so glad you do. And you know, it's interesting that you, you share that story with us because I don't think people really realize that, you know, yes, you, you, of course, you know, if you're married to someone or you, or you've got a loved one in the family who needs help and they, you know, and then they go into a place like that, they go to a rehab and they get help and they don't think about them. Well, what are you doing outside? Because you're still the one who is, number one, you've had to been dealing with that all along anyway, and now you're still trying to pick up the pieces and it reminded me. I actually saw a movie not too long ago. It had, um, oh shoot. Now just, uh, Chris O'Dowd and, um, the woman who was in bridesmaids and she's a wonderful comedian and her name is escaping me at the moment, but her husband, they had a situation where they lost a child there, through SIDS and he really lost it. And so he went into rehab, but then it really focused on her because she was the one trying to manage, you know, She's coping with grief too, from losing a child. And, you know, and I think she, she may not have said like, where's my rehab, but that's sort of the felt, um, the thought that came about that. So I'm glad that you were able to find your rehab. So you, you kind of talked a little bit about why someone would want to go into this, but I don't know if you could maybe even elaborate it on that a little bit more, you know, why, why would someone really either want to and or need to do this for themselves? Right. And it goes on a continuum anywhere from somebody who just is like there, they're having to deal with negative emotions like they had, they're having negative thoughts and emotions and actions. And you want to eliminate those all the way to high achievers, the high achievers want to eliminate something that's pre, preventing them from getting to their next level. They're at a million. They want to go to 5 million. Right? So usually people are rehabbing their thoughts and their belief system and, and that, but also it's like I made an acronym out of rehab. So R is for reclaim who you are and why you're here. Right. Like that's enough for most people. And then Eliminate the negative thoughts, emotions and actions have clarity about what your next step is and how to take it. Accelerate, then then A is accelerate your growth through a connection With some kind of higher power and B is become peaceful, happy and productive. My whole, my whole program has always been based on a belief in some kind of higher power. It doesn't matter the religion for that, I have people in Islam and a Buddhist, Christian. You knew what, you know,...
