Spiritual Warfare Series: Nebuchadnezzar’s god

Greetings everyone, and may grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you. We will be in Daniel 3 today. This particular story isn’t about a particular demon that has a name, but about the gods that King Nebuchadnezzar served. They represent the selfish pride of the human heart, and the challenges that we face on a daily basis. Shadrach, Meschach, and Abed-nego (aka, Rack, Shack, and Benny) faced a huge dilemma because they refused to worship the golden image that the king had put up, but even if God chose not to save them, they were faithful enough to refuse to worship the idol. Our faithfulness should not be contingent on what God can do for us, because His grace through the blood of Jesus was sufficient for all we need. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20 Don’t forget to pray for one another, especially during these uncertain times.
