Spirituality versus science: Are we so different? With Ebony Uamaki.
from Your Listener · host John Cuturilo
Are spiritualists just hallucinating? Is living your life by science too rigid? And what exactly is manifesting, and does it have a place in scientific psychology? In this episode, I had the pleasure of collaborating with Ebony Uamaki. Ebony is a proud mother, intuitive reader, model, coach, speaker, and disability advocate. Ebony is also blind, and it's a testament to her resilience and wisdom that she has overcome the challenges and stigma associated with disability and stands as an inspiration to all.Ebony and I travel out of our comfort zones in to daring intellectual territory. Society is becoming increasingly polarised and the slightest difference between people is treated as cause for major conflict. With intuitive reading being considered a spiritual practice by many (although, as Ebony says, there is some ambiguity in this), and my practice being based in Western science, our respective philosophies often don't co-exist peacefully. But we demonstrate that having civil dialogue and exploring some of the most uncomfortable questions together isn't just possible, but a necessary part of a civil society.Find Ebony's work at the following links:https://www.instagram.com/ebonyuamaki/?next=%2Frecoveringfrombelief%2Fhttps://open.spotify.com/show/10caV45agb8G1SfxRhEZh4?si=0Kg0MNsZQIy8c_WCGCUlmA&nd=1&dlsi=42aed9a4c584462chttps://podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/eb-n-flow-podcast/id1679746024Contact me via my website for a discussion on how I may help you: https://yourlistener.wixsite.com/coachingPrefer to listen elsewhere?
