Sport superstar Erin Phillips on Same-Sex Marriage: “It will make our lives a lot easier & happier so I can’t wait!!”

AFL Women's and Olympic basketball star Erin Phillips told Jodie & Soda she’s still emotional after the announcement of Australia voting 61.6% ‘Yes’ for Same-Sex Marriage and is excited on how it will change life for her family for the future. “Little things like being able to put Tracey on Health insurance right now it’s just me and the kids there’s a lot of separation with things here in Australia. There’s a lot of little things that will make our life a lot easier and happier” The AFLW champion and basketball legend married her wife Tracy Gahan, in Hawaii three years ago and said it may be awhile until they renew their vows in Australia but she’s thankful Australia is making the change. “To everyone out there who voted ‘Yes’ thank you from the bottom of our hearts, one more step to go!”
