SportsBeat KC podcast: With legal sports wagering in Kansas, what are some of our favorite bets?

from SportsBeat KC · host KCUR and The Kansas City Star

Legal sports wagering has arrived in Kansas. Gov. Laura Kelly placed the first bet on Tuesday ($15 on the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl), and betting is happening through the state’s four casinos, including Hollywood Casino in Kansas City, Kan., and online. On today’s SportsBeat KC, columnist Sam McDowell and beat writer Kellis Robinett discuss what it means to have sports betting in the region, and even offer some of their favorite bets. Also, pay attention to college football games that match a team that has already played a game against one that hasn’t. It matters.
