Spring is near in Clemson, SC, but Tiger sports fans are already budding with excitement over the success of the men's basketball and baseball teams as well as the potential of the 2018 football team as it is revealed in Spring practice. On the hardwood the men's basketball team bounced back from their first losing streak of the year by finishing the regular season 2-1 and tied for 3rd in conference play. The Tigers enter the ACC tournament as the fourth seed, securing a double bye and a match up with the winner of NC State vs. Boston College. Currently projected as a 4-6 seen in the NCAA Tournament, Brad Brownell's team looks to regain the momentum they had for most of the year. On the diamond, the baseball team sits at 11-1 after taking the season series from South Carolina for a fourth year in a row. Monte Lee is now 3-0 against the Gamecocks and has only dropped one midweek game in now his 3rd year leading the Tigers. Finally, on the gridiron, the QB battle heats up and several ncoming freshman standout as Clemson looks to turn the page from a disappointing end to the 2017 season with the focus of returning to the College Football Playoff for a fourth year in a row.
