SSS - Don't Put People on a Pedestal

Welcome back to another week and another Sight Setting Sunday (SSS) episode. This week, I want you to think about how you view successful people. Do you put them so far above yourself in a category that you think is not possible for you to reach? Or in other words, do you put them on a pedestal? If this is true, maybe their success is bringing out insecurities in you that you'd rather hide. That's why we put people on a pedestal. We think protect ourselves by believing that successful people are special and that we could never reach their level. In reality, all this does is make it more difficult for us to reach our goals. Hiding these insecurities saps our mind of belief. So this week, I encourage you to look at the way you view successful people and avoid putting them on a pedestal.
